On the heels of a report from The Ringer’s Ben Detrick that suggests Philadelphia 76ers president Bryan Colangelo has five secret Twitter accounts dedicated to serving his own agenda, Andy and Dan discuss all the various forms of potential fallout. The accounts in question haven’t been confirmed as Colangelo’s, but the evidence seems pretty damning. And given how critical these burners were of everyone from Joel Embiid and Markelle Fultz, to Sam Hinkie and Masai Ujiri, it stands to reason all this could ultimately cost Colangelo his job.
Will it also cost the Sixers a shot at signing LeBron James and Paul George? Should we give Colangelo the benefit of the doubt in this instance? Is this the craziest NBA storyline in recent memory?
After blitzing through this, Andy and Dan offer their thoughts on the Magic hiring Steve Clifford as their new head coach. And then, from there, it’s NBA Finals time. Do the Cavaliers have a chance? What are the implications of every possible Finals outcome? What tactical adjustments will the Warriors and Cavs make as the series goes on? We talk about it all!
