Hardwood Knocks, Episode 132 — Blake Griffin’s fit with Pistons and DeAndre Jordan’s Future with Clippers
Blake Griffin is now a member of the Detroit Pistons. Yes, you read that correctly.
Mere months after signing a five-year max deal to remain with the Clippers, the oft-injured All-Star was flipped to Motor City on Monday, along with Willie Reed and Brice Johnson, in exchange for Avery Bradley, Tobias Harris, Boban Marjanovic, a first-round pick and a second-round pick, as first reported by ESPN.com’s Adrian Wojnarowski.

Take your time to digest this. We understand. It’s a lot to take in. When you’ve gathered yourself, though, come join Andy and Dan as they dissect every angle of this trade.
Did the Clippers or Pistons get the better end of this deal? How will Griffin fit beside Andre Drummond? What are the Clippers doing? Will they trade DeAndre Jordan and Lou Williams next? And what the hell are the Pistons doing? Has coach-president Stan Van Gundy lost his mind, or does he know something we don’t?
And, finally, what impact will this blockbuster trade have on the NBA’s February dead itself? Will we see even more action? (Looking at you, Cleveland Cavaliers.) Or is this the extent of the midseason fun to which we’ll be treated?
Okay: Ready. Set. Let’s rock and roll.
